**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with power tools, auto glass, vehicle maintenance, and dealership operations.

**Responsibilities:**

We are looking for someone to assist with the paperwork and internal office responsibilities involving the claims and estimates given by insurance companies for the work our body shop performs on customer's vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing paperwork produced in the body shop
• Assisting with making and receiving customer phone calls
• Making sure all proper paperwork has been submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement
• Keeping up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment
• Any miscellaneous body shop office tasks given by the body shop manager

**Experience:**

- Prior experience in automotive repair or related field

- Familiarity with heavy lifting procedures

- Knowledge of airless paint spraying methods
