Quick Facts for your Overview:

  • This is a full-time position with regular 8-hours a day and normally 5 days 40 hours a week and Saturdays and Sundays off.
  • Preferences for 1st or 2nd shift will be considered after initial training.
  • First pay raise can be expected after initial training-on-the-job is completed successfully (approx. 2-3 weeks).
  • Further pay raises can be expected and are mainly based on reliability, performance, and quality of work.

  • We offer assistance to reach grands and funding to achieve the qualification needed to be a future CNC Setup Operator for us by visiting machine shop classes of community colleges in the area.

We in Auburn/AL (I85 Exit 50) are looking for Production Operator.

Production Operator – Duties and Responsibilities

The Production Operator will handle and assemble our products while ensuring that our quality standards and production goals are met. We expect a clean, organized and safe workspace is maintained so that the highest level of product quality is guaranteed.

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Follows consistently common rules and policies to attendance and punctuality
  • Ensures machine cleanliness and good housekeeping
  • Owns adequate hand and eye coordination and finger dexterity to assemble parts
  • Able to follow written work instructions and diagrams for assembly of parts
  • Able to use hand tools
  • Able to work in a team
  • Able to complete assigned tasks in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness.
  • Performs visual quality checks as required
  • Must be able to work in a cooperative and respectful manner with co-workers, shift leads, supervisors, managers and others on Company premises.
  • Must be able to occasionally be lifting, pushing and pulling objects that are up to 40 pounds.
  • Open to work different shifts and overtime as required

Production Operator – Skills and Qualifications

Required for this job (must have):

  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to quality
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

Preferred for this job (could have but not necessary):

  • High school diploma or GED with basic math and reading skills.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Quality control experience
  • Assembly line experience
  • Automotive experience
