Schillings is Hiring an IT Specialist Near Saint John, IN
Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a full-time IT Specialist at our Saint John, IN location. We offer competitive pay along with opportunities for advancement. This position will be onsite Monday-Friday, with a choice of 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm schedule. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Strong PC & Network troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with the end users to gather information and resolve issues (excellent people skills a must)
- Windows server administration such as patching and migration
- Maintain and update IT help desk ticketing system
- Support and maintenance of backup systems
- Support and configuration of Apple mobile devices
- Knowledge of network printer installation, setup, and troubleshooting
- Installation and upgrade of hardware and software
- Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
- Assists in maintaining the Endpoint security software utilized on the network/PC’s
- Assist in maintaining the addition of new users to the network and establishment of rights and privileges
- Ability to determine computer problems and coordinate hardware and software solutions
- Traveling to the locations of Saint John, IN, Cedar Lake, IN and Mokena, IL during the work week (company vehicle provided for travel)
Education/Required Skills:
- Associates (2 year) degree, with a technical major at minimum
- 2-5 years system administration experience
- Proficient in Active Directory/Azure AD, Window Server, MS Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, MS Office 2013/O365, Group Policy, and Apple IOS
- Good knowledge and experience in building and maintaining internetworked technologies in a multi-location environment
- Cisco Meraki knowledge; a plus
- Good knowledge and understanding of LAN administration
- Experience in managing Apple mobile platforms and associated secure connectivity preferred but not required
- Experience in IP phone system, IP camera system, MS Exchange on prem/online preferred but not required
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
