We seek a full-time or part-time professional retail sales associate. The hours of this role could be made flexible for someone seeking heavy-part time employment or part-time, post-retirement employment. Part-time consideration is based on applicant’s job history, related skills, abilities and availability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all shoppers
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products
- Sell premium recreation and fitness related products
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Conduct daily inventory counts
- Handle store opening and closing responsibilities
Skills:
- Previous experience in specialty retail sales a plus
- Strong sales skills and the ability to close deals
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Inventory management skills
- Multilingual abilities are a bonus, but not required
