Responsibilities: - Track Incoming Freight: Monitor and track incoming freight by store location to accurately assess daily and weekly freight volume.
- Estimate Volume for Container Breakouts: Utilize data analysis to estimate volume by location for upcoming container breakouts
- Optimize Shipping Schedule: Coordinate closely with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to determine optimal days for shipping out full truckloads (FTL) to stores.
- Travel: Participate in yearly inventory at the warehouses and quarterly visits to warehouses for process reviews. Travel frequency may range from 15-20 nights per year.
- Manage outbound pallet sheets: Oversee outbound pallet sheets to ensure accurate shipment preparation and documentation.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels for inbound orders with buyers and warehouses
- Analyze receiving metrics and order timelines to identify trends and optimize warehouse processes.
- Keep stakeholders informed by providing updates and tracking information on orders and shipments.
- Cross-train with the Logistics team to provide support during peak volume periods
- File and manage damage/shortage claims for warehouses, specifically for loads routed by the Scheels Logistics Team, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to resolve routing issues
- Ensure efficient routing of e-commerce less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments to customers.

Education & Experience: - The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Alternatively, equivalent practical experience in the field will be considered.
