• Provide troubleshooting support and guidance to service techs and installers.
• Interact with customers in person and via phone and email to resolves concerns and issues, and follow up on satisfaction after work has been performed.
• Assist with layout and pricing of proposed equipment installations.
• Diagnose problems and repair gas appliances, equipment and piping systems.
• Assist with overcoming equipment installation challenges.
• Recommend additional repairs or optional equipment to customer.
• Interact with inspectors from county/municipality as required to ensure safe and compliant installations.
• Interact with suppliers and manufacturers for technical support and parts procurement.
• Perform plant equipment inspections and repairs as necessary.
• Maintain accurate, easy-to-read records of all work performed and materials used.
• Maintain safe work habits and encourage safe behavior from co-workers.
• Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, equipment and vehicles (fluid levels).
• Required to be "on-call" and readily available while on-call, on a rotating basis with staff.
• Periodically review product bulletins and NFPA codes to stay current with technical changes.
• Represent Schagrin Home Comfort Products to customers and co-workers in a professional, respectful, friendly and courteous manner.

• Reports directly to the Middletown Operations Manager.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned to the position.
• Capable of operating various power tools and equipment.
• Provide own basic hand tools (Company has a tool replacement program and provides industry-specific specialty tools).

• Available to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00am-4:30pm

• Must comply with Schagrin Home Comfort Products and DOT drug testing policy.
• A minimum of three years of experience in related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license, in good standing.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of working in an environment that is both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist and move freely in the performance of the position.
• Successfully complete CETP Basic Propane training class within first six months of employment, and other training/testing including CETP and OQ as provided by company.
