The Opportunity:

The Assistant Superintendent position will act as the job supervisor responsible for directing and verifying that tasks assigned to carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors are successfully completed. The Assistant Superintendent works directly with our production and executive teams to execute specific custom home remodel projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Clean up the job site and ensure all equipment is properly secured for the night 
  • Plan and schedule material purchases to remain on project deadlines 
  • Read and interpret sketches, blueprints, and drawings
  • Accountable for fine detail in all project finishes and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Other construction-related duties as required to meet client and business needs

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of general contractor/construction experience 
  • Experience in framing, trim carpentry, concrete work, basic electrical and plumbing
  • Experience in web-based software is a plus
  • Be able to read blueprint and specification plans.
  • Ability to resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions.
  • Independent and able to carry out daily tasks on time ensuring safe work practices and procedures are followed.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of best construction materials and tools, practices and procedures, and understands the critical path of construction.
  • Able to speak and write in English fluently.
  • Is a happy, motivated person with a great attitude!

Compensation:

  • Full-time position.
  • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience
