The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Community Health Aide is responsible for providing acute, chronic, emergency, and preventive medical health care to rural residents under the direction of the medical doctors in Anchorage and according to the CHA/P Manual. This job requires travel to remote communities, it is not Anchorage based. The CHA IV and/or Practitioner are expected to operate within the guidelines of the CHA/P Manual and their level of training and the scope of practice consistent with their level of training. CHA IV and/or Practitioner are also expected to act within the limits of their Standing Orders (SO) when applicable.

Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment. You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment. Jobs designated as a Health Care Personnel (HCP) position, requires that you have documentation that you have completed the following immunizations prior to your first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis), and COVID-19 vaccination is required.
