Position Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Manager to oversee all aspects of the receiving process within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, coordinating with vendors, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and leading a team of receiving associates to maintain efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving Operations: Manage all aspects of the receiving process including unloading trucks, inspecting shipments for accuracy and quality, and processing paperwork.
2. Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of received inventory into the system, maintaining proper storage procedures, and conducting regular inventory audits.
3. Vendor Coordination: Communicate effectively with vendors regarding shipment schedules, discrepancies, and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of receiving associates, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure performance targets are met.
5. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and compliance with company policies and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to regulatory requirements.
6. Process Improvement: Continuously assess receiving processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, warehouse operations, and transportation to optimize overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in warehouse receiving or inventory management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on coaching, team development, and performance management.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• MUST HAVE - fork lift license and experience.
