What You Will Do

Interns are responsible for the successful execution of projects and daily process work for SCB’s Carbon Solutions Desk. This combination of project and process work allows interns to research a section of the industry to conclusion and engage in the day to day running of the business.

Projects vary and can include putting together presentations, analysing data or conducting research. Other responsibilities may include: 

• Supporting Sales with advisory proposals and key deliveries
• Research within Voluntary Carbon Markets
• Prospecting for corporate customers clients/public institutions and business development (cold calling, qualifying and building the pipeline of deal)

• Assisting with the preparation of presentations and marketing material for the desk
• Analysing market trends
• Special projects as assigned in support of the desk
• Creation and implementation of new systems to better aid the flow and storage of digital information throughout the Company

Who We Look For

We are looking for graduate students who are interested in building a career in the environmental, commodity or financial markets or the energy sector.

Candidates must have:

• A degree in Environmental Studies, Energy Economics, Business or equivalent work experience
