Job Title: High School Social Worker
Date Available: August 2023
Descritpion: Scarborough High School is looking for a dynamic new member of our Student Services Department which consists of 5 school counselors and 5 social workers. This position includes counseling and social work services for high school students. Additional responsibilities include substance use prevention and treatment work at the high school (SHS) and on occasion the middle school (SMS).

An ideal candidate will have the following:

Qualifications: Licensure as Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) (which is preferred), or Licensure as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Counselor (LCPC)

Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC and CERTIFICATION MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
