Scan Pac Manufacturing, Inc. is Hiring a CNC Operator Near Menomonee Falls, WI

What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator, you'll be part of our Scan Pac Manufacturing team located in Menomonee Falls, WI. You'll get to:

  • Reads and interprets work instructions, prints, and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions.
  • With assistance, troubleshoots, edits, and optimizes new production programs to ensure efficient overall production.
  • Calculates and sets machine controls to specific work orders and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow.
  • Document new program changes and processes to ensure setups can be duplicated and overall production time is optimized.
  • Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Deburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Setup machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the shop.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: 1-3 years’ experience as CNC mill/lathe operator preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer and computer aided machinery skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Read basic measuring devices including micrometers and calipers.
  • Must be able to lift between 25 - 35 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally between 35 - 50 pounds. Considerable standing, stooping and bending is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
