Condominium located in Poughkeepsie , NY is in need of dedicated individual to serve as a general maintenance custodian. You will assist Arbors Maintenance Manager with all duties and respond to all requests from both Arbors Maintenance Manager, and Property Manager.

Job Description/Responsibilities and/or Supervision of:

• Must be courteous, personable and welcoming
• Coordinate Maintenance of the building’s interior and exterior grounds with Managing Agent and vendors to ensure the building and grounds are safe for homeowners.
• Reporting to Managing Agent, and Arbors Maintenance Manager (first) the physical appearance of the building and grounds as assigned.
• Must work in conjunction with general contractors and service vendors and report to Arbors Maintenance Manager to ensure vendors are in compliance with all contract specifications.
• Courteous conduct at all times.
• Reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property.
• Assist in the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property.
• Undertake minor repairs and tasks e.g. painting, moving tables/chairs, assembling small equipment, signage installation, power washing, trash removal, and any other jobs as may be instructed.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Weekdays 8am-4pm, overtime is only required at discretion of Management
• Previous caretaking, cleaning or tradesperson experience is preferred.
• Individual must be able to perform duties satisfactorily and independently.
• Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving in dealing with a variety of situations.
• Possess Professional Demeanor and good communication skills, be flexible, have high attention to details, be trustworthy and have multitasking skills.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• A requirement to use ladders where necessary and ability to use hand tools and move household items.
