SCA Health is currently seeking a per diem Athletic Trainer (hourly) to join our Midlands Orthopaedics Surgery Center Team.

This is a unique job setting as the therapy providers are employed by the center and work in the recovery room with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and radiology technicians. The patients seen all undergo outpatient total joints and sacroiliac joint fusions. Patients and their caregivers receive a session of physical therapy and get to go home that day.

Patients come from all over the country for a hip resurfacing procedure which is a conservative total hip replacement that allows for return to high level activities including contact sports.

Hours are variable and flexible based on the surgical caseload for the week. The center is open Monday-Friday. Athletic Trainers receive a shift differential of $4 more per hour after 4 pm.
