Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician R&D to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and experiments to support research and development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and formulation of innovative cosmetic products. Working closely with the R&D team, the technician will conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the creation of high-quality, safe, and effective cosmetic formulations.

Duties

• Prepare lab batches of prototypes based on provided formulations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct stability testing on formulations to assess shelf-life and product integrity.
• Perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Senior R&D Chemist, marketing, production to achieve project goals.
• Troubleshoot formulation issues and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging technologies in cosmetic science.
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of the laboratory, including inventory management and equipment calibration.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Cosmetology, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a cosmetic R&D laboratory or related field preferred.
• · Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as weighing, measuring, mixing, and pH testing.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
