Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Editor to join our editorial team. The Assistant Editor will support the editorial process by assisting with various tasks such as copy editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and research.

The ideal candidate must be an experienced photographer.

Duties:

Assist in social media marketing as needed

Work closely with the advertising sales team members to facilitate advertising placement.

Assist in editing and proofreading content for accuracy and adherence to style guidelines

Conduct fact-checking to ensure the validity of information presented in articles

Assist in copywriting and technical writing tasks as needed

Utilize word processing software to format and prepare content for publication

Requirements:

- Proficient in Adobe photoshop, Light Box, and Canva
- Strong copy editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to conduct thorough research and fact-checking
- Proficient in word processing software for document formatting
- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail
