IDR Healthcare is Hiring an Automation Engineer Near Memphis, TN
IDR is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and automation of IT infrastructure using Ansible and other tools. They will work closely with infrastructure teams to assist in the development of reliable code.
Responsibilities:
- Refine existing functional requirements for infrastructure automation
- Develop/script in one or more of the following languages: XML, Java Script, JSON, Perl, Python, PowerShell, BASH
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the automation stack
- Collaborate with management and system architects to assess near and long-term needs
- Conduct research on infrastructure automation, infrastructure as code, services, and standards to remain abreast of developments in automation
- Develop automations for manual processes
- Evangelize infrastructure automation processes, tools, standards, and Rely Team responsibilities with application, architecture, and infrastructure organizations
- Mid-senior level resource
- Ansible development experience (required)
- Ability to write Ansible code (yml, python, powershell, etc.) Not looking for someone who can just run playbooks that another individual wrote
- Kafka experience
- Infrastructure capacity planning
- IT asset management tools and processes
- Database, network, and application middleware tools
- Ansible and YML scripting language
- Delivery of assigned projects on the Automation Roadmap
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking/communication protocols
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server platforms and MS network services
- Knowledge of Redhat Enterprise Linux network services
