Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our team. As an X-ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients using X-ray and other imaging modalities. Your expertise will help provide accurate and timely results to assist in patient diagnoses and treatment plans.

Duties:

X-ray imaging procedures, including but not limited to PET scans, mammography, CT scans, and diagnostic evaluations

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety

- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images

- Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to produce high-quality images

- Review images for clarity and accuracy, making adjustments as needed

- Maintain patient records and document procedures performed

- Follow proper safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique at all times

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images

- Assist in emergency situations such as in the ER or during trauma cases

Qualifications:

- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician

- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and other imaging modalities

- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology

- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
