Full-time Hourly Position tipping to $11.50 tips hourly DOE plus benefits.Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of our Sawmill Market. Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
Work under direction of Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
Communicate daily with restaurant leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
Passionately deliver refined, seamless service.
Answer menu questions, and offer recommendations to guests to create a memorable dining experience.
Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Welcome guests to the unique dinning experience.
Articulate the story, inspiration, and culinary mindset of the space to our guests.
Respond to guest challenges and find the appropriate resolution in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of caf register space.
Handle all checks and cash according to procedures; accurately prepare tip reporting paperwork on time.
Attend required training sessions or meetings.
Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.
HC9 Requirements
Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more.
Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 15 pounds frequently.
Comfort with learning a point of sale systems.
Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
