Daily Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the schedule set forth by the Supervisor and execute the duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Interact directly with customers and Festival artists using excellent communication and customer service skills

• Responsible for the execution of sales of Festival merchandise and sales of art when artists are not at their booths.

• Be alert and attentive to people needing assistance.

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Engage with each patron directly, giving each the attention they deserve, and making them feel welcomed while working to meet their needs quickly and efficiently.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) governing operations.

• Maintain a pleasant work environment for customers and colleagues.

• Work towards continuous optimization of operations by providing Supervisor and management with timely feedback.

• Play the role of brand ambassador of the Sawdust Festival.

Pay Range
$16.00 to $18.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Available to work day, night, or weekend shifts

• Able to use tablet-based point-of-sale system, and handle cash sales

• Excellent communication skills.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Grace under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.

• Working Conditions:

• Work is typically performed in an enclosed space environment.

  Physical Requirements:

  Guest services representatives will spend periods of time on their feet, but stools or chairs are available. Reaching and bending over to move boxes of merchandise will be needed, as well as the ability to attend to sales displays.
