In compliance with Californias Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the salary range for this role is $101,500 - $137,750. About the Role:

The Information Technology System Engineer (Tactical) - Mid will install, test, and support Microsoft Windows and Android based systems.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

• Design, build, brief, and deploy Tactical Land Area Network (TACLAN) Images as well as inventory, track, and resolve usability and configuration issues of new TACLAN Images.
• Responsible for scanning, remediating, rescanning, and reporting to cognizant authority the status of Category I vulnerabilities in support of the accreditation of new TACLAN Images in addition to downloading, installing, and verifying Microsoft Updates in support of TACLAN Images.
• Generate documentation necessary to receive an Interim Authority to Operate (IATO).
• Build small test networks in support of Network Security Vulnerability scanning, troubleshoot client/server and network, and conduct testing, quality assurance, and drafting test plans for functional testing and accreditation.
• Responsible for drafting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents, accreditation, documentation, and conduct peer review of documents created by others.
• Install/configure/troubleshoot VMware server virtualization products independently, configuring Information Technology assets in accordance with Federal Information Processing guidelines (such as DISA STIGs and NSA SNACs).
• Configuration and maintenance of networking equipment - primarily routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Run the DOD approved Information Assurance tool ACAS Security Center to assess the vulnerability status of networked and non-networked assets and provide reporting/risk assessments on an as needed basis.
• Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience:

• Five (5) years System Administrator Experience at the NOC level.
• Experience in configuring Information Technology assets in accordance with Federal Information Processing guidelines (such as DISA STIGs and NSA SNACs).
• Experience working with the DoD DIACAP accreditation process.
• Experience in configuration and maintenance of networking equipment - primarily routers, switches, and firewalls.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer science OR
  • Four (4) years of experience in IT or Computer related fields in lieu of degree.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• ITIL v3 Certification and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to install/configure/troubleshoot VMware server virtualization products independently.
• Ability to run the DoD approved Information Assurance tool to assess the vulnerability status of networked and non-networked assets and provide reporting/risk assessments on an as needed basis.

Security Clearance:

• Secret security clearance required with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
