Saving Hope Animal Rescue Fund is Hiring a Kennel Technician Near Fort Worth, TX

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our furry guests. This position requires a strong passion for animals and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their specific needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and play areas regularly
- Administer medications as instructed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all animals
- Assist with basic training exercises for dogs
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities

Requirements:
- Previous experience in pet care or veterinary settings is preferred
- Knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and basic health care
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners and veterinary staff
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
