Job Summary:

The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of systems and applications supported by the Information Technology Applications teams. The position will work side by side with project teams, including business owners, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to understand business requirements and develop a comprehensive automation test suite. As a Sr. QA Engineer you will be embracing the challenges of working with cutting-edge serverless solutions in an advanced cloud environment. The position will be responsible for developing scripted, automated and/or headless regression tests for existing and new applications. The successful candidate will bring in strong expertise in test-automation, white-box testing, AWS, GCP and other cloud platforms, passion for documentation and excellent communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:

·Develop, iterate, and manage desired web and mobile application capabilities and testing scenarios, continuously improve testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk for all functionality

·Design, create, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases, producing clear and concise results for cosmetic, functional, and data-driven issues leading the usability, availability, resilience, scalability of applications.

·Coordinate with business analysts and developers to ensure compliance with requirements when developing unit and integration tests

·Compile and provide test results to developers with regards to passes, failures, and tests still to be executed in a clear and concise format and monitor them until resolution

·Track bugs that are found both in development and after release into production to create a baseline and track internal efficiency

·Create automated and scripted regression tests to ensure future integrity of applications and solutions

·Attend meetings with decision makers, business owners, and end users to understand business and operations requirements, performance goals, and process issues to define project and ensure quality results

·Identify and define key performance indicators as they pertain to a specific project or solution to ensure quality objectives are fully met

·Assist with facilitating improvements in Quality Assurance (QA) infrastructure and processes to maximize efficiency

·Perform other duties as assigned
