Savantage Solutions is seeking a Jr. Financial Manager to join our professional services team. The successful candidate will support the Chief of Financial Operations for DTRA in a wide range of financial execution and program management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Jr. Financial Manager supports the Chief of Financial Operations to perform the following general responsibilities:

• Provide Financial Management reporting and process support
•  Provide some administrative support.

The successful candidate is expected to independently apply knowledge and skill to assist with Financial Execution Initiatives – Some examples include:

• Conducting Ad-Hoc Analysis of Unliquidated Obligation (ULOs) to find issues and potential solutions,
• Attending meetings and recording findings related to the improvement of Fiscal Year End Closeout, and Maintaining the Organization’s SharePoint updating content.
• Maintaining a SharePoint site that tracks issue related De-obligations of expired funds pulling data from Financial System, OSD's ADVANA and gathering input from Agency Budget Analysts,

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

 The candidate must have:

• Secret Clearance

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Basic Understanding DoD financial operations
• Intermediate Knowledge of MS Excel and Sharepoint with the capability and desire to improve those skills
• DoD experience desire

 Education and Certification

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
