A Food Runner/Expeditor in a restaurant is responsible for:

• Organizing ticket orders and helping the kitchen staff to prioritize outgoing meals.
• Maintaining quality control of the food.
• Delivering food to tables.
• Monitoring ticket times.
• Facilitating communication between the front of house and the kitchen.
• Ensuring kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner.
• Checking the orders for accuracy.
• Serving as liaisons between cooks, waiters and customers.
• Coordinating food orders, preparation and delivery to ensure the prompt and correct filling of orders.
• Routinely checking the status of order tickets and communicating with cooks to manage the flow of service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
