Duties may vary and other duties may be assigned.

• Assists the ED of Counseling and Student Support Services to manage day-to-day situations involving students, families and staff and make decisions as authorized by the ED.
• Manages communication to campus partners following students' medical or other personal emergencies, resulting in missing classes.
• Assists with oversight of counseling@scad.edu email and disability@scad.edu and responds as necessary.
• Serves as liaison for ED to campus leadership through dissemination of key counseling and student support services reports, coordination of meetings and events
• Authorized BANNER user; provides BANNER information for student and parent contact.
• Authorized Accommodate and Titanium user; provides scheduling for student and parent contacts
• Responsible for accounting functions such as processing purchase requisitions and approvals for ED
• Maintains the overall budget for the ED and subordinate offices
• Provides support to SCAD events related to orientation and recruitment, as well as university sponsored festivals and special events.
• Assists with the planning of departmental meetings including providing agendas, room arrangements and setup, A / V needs, catering and meeting notes.
• Maintains and updates the policy and procedure for all offices.
