Description
Organizes and leads activities of children ages 6 weeks to 4 years by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Helps children remove outer garments.
  • Organizes and participates in games, reads to children, and teaches them simple painting, drawing, handwork, songs, and similar activities.
  • Develop schedules and routines.
  • Directs children in eating, resting, and toileting.
  • Change diapers of infants and toddlers.
  • Helps children develop habits of caring for own clothing and picking up and putting away toys and books.
  • Attend to all physical needs of an infant and toddler.
  • Serves meals and refreshments to children and regulates rest periods.
  • Assists in preparing food and cleaning.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Lead teacher should possess a CDA or higher. Floater should have at least six months related experience and/or training.
