REPORTS TO: Director, Liquids Marketing at Texon LOCATION: Houston, TX BASIC FUNCTION: Work closely with Marketing, Scheduling, Accounting, and Contracts Groups on analysis, development, market reconciliation, and optimization activities. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the ticket reconciliation process to tie back to each load scheduled. This includes actualizing volumes, ensuring loads are scheduled to the correct contracts, etc.Provide timely status updates to Texon Commercial team. This includes communicating any market report issues, service interruptions, etc. to ensure a high level of customer service.Respond timely to customer inquiries regarding any discrepancies.Work closely with Scheduling and Settlements teams to ensure shipments are accurate and entered timely to meet monthly closing deadlines. Also assist Settlements to identify and resolve volume and/or pricing issues.Work with Systems and Marketing teams to automate the reconciliation process.Create tools and analysis for logistics and cost optimization.Monitor contract performance (sales and supply) and make recommendations to optimize. DESIRED SKILLS:Integrity and trustStrong organizational skills with ability to multitask.Team oriented and self-directed with a collaborative and commercial mindset.Strong analytical skills with ability to pay close attention to detail.Clear oral and written communication skills required.Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Strong relationship building skills.Cross functional team player with ability to professionally represent Texon internally and externally.Ability to gather data, format data, and provide tangible actions from analysis. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Undergraduate Degree preferred.
