Sauder Woodworking is seeking a Talent Acquisition and Development Intern to join our Talent team this summer. You will have the opportunity to work on several projects that will help you grow your skills and make a significant impact on the organization. Some potential projects are:Leading the summer internship program. You will be helping other interns learn about Sauder, planning development training for the intern group, and implementing our end-of-summer showcase.Assisting with hiring our summer workforce. You will learn how to use an HRIS system to post, hire, and onboard new employees.Orienting new employees to our company. Leading orientation for summer employees and potentially full-time hires. This would entail coordinating sessions, and presenting information on safety, policies, and benefits.Reporting and analysis. You will be analyzing a variety of data, cleaning up data for reports, auditing data and reports to ensure accurate information.Collaborating on communications. You will work with our Talent Attraction and Sourcing Specialist to create strategies for employer branding, social media posts, and internal communications.Sauder internship programs are designed to run 10-12 weeks from May to August. We aim to provide valuable experiences for all interns and the departments they are assigned to.
