Description

Saucon Valley Country Club is looking for an experienced Dive Coach for our summer Swim Program in Bethlehem, PA. Looking for someone that has a professional and engaging demeanor that positively impacts the member experience. This position is considered seasonal with work dates from May 28 to July 24, 2024. The scheduled practices and meets are required. If you are up for the challenge, let's talk.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop training programs based on individual needs and skill levels
• Teach proper diving techniques
• Provide feedback to divers on their performance and help them make necessary improvements
• Attend and coach practices
• Attend and coach meets
• Fill out dive cards for meets
• Communicate with the team/parents
• Help fulfill volunteer responsibilities

Practices:

First practice begins on 5/28 and the last practice is on 7/24/24.

5/28-6/7 Monday-Friday from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

6/10-7/24 Monday-Friday from 8 - 10 a.m.

Dive Meet Schedule: 

Warm ups begin at 5 p.m. The meet typically ends around 9 p.m.

Requirements

Experience:

Previous experience as a Diving Coach or competitive diver strongly preferred

Certification in CPR/First Aid Preferred

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong knowledge of diving techniques and training methods

Ability to motivate and inspire athletes
