At Fat Chance Food Hall, we want our servers to participate in a friendly, fast-paced, and team-oriented work environment. Servers are responsible for leading our guests through a wonderful dining experience and guiding them through our multiple-concept menu. Our servers must participate in abundant hospitality throughout the restaurant while anticipating guests' needs during their dining experience.

The following are the expectations of a server at Fat Chance Food Hall

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery, and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Checks station before, during, and after shifts for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Accurately takes orders using Toast handheld device while guiding guests through the menu
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy, and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all Stateand federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Participates in hospitality with our guests and other team members
• Pre-busses empty plates, glasses, and silverware throughout the guests' experience
• Buses and cleans tables throughout the restaurant in between turns
• Participates in teamwork during the shift

Qualifications

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid California Food Handlers Card required
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certificate Required
