Freelance Position Summary

We are looking for a freelance Social Media Specialist available approximately 15-20 hours a week who makes writing, designing, and scheduling posts—as well as analyzing metrics through reporting—look easy for our portfolio of HVAC, flooring, plumbing, and other home services clients as well as our SAUCE program.

Description

Under the supervision of our creative directors, and collaboration with our team, the Social Media Specialist will:

• Craft engaging content and take the content from post to reporting via the agency’s tool
• Generate, design/edit, schedule/publish, and share content using the agency’s tool
• Analyze/summarize reporting by turning metrics into easy to understand ROI for clients

Qualifications

Skills and qualifications include:

• Communication: The ability to effectively connect with team members and target audiences via different social platforms in fluent English
• Creativity: The ability to produce engaging content that is on-brand and specific to each platform
• Technology: The ability to understand the agency’s tool and to effectively measure and communicate the success of our social program
• Time management: The skill of organizing tasks and staying ahead of scheduling and reporting is essential for this role

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in digital marketing or related field with a minimum of two years of experience managing multiple social media accounts in tandem is preferred
