SAU15 is Hiring a Nutrition Services Manager Near Candia, NH

Nuttirtion Service SupervisorHenry W. Moore School, Candia, NHNutrition Service SupervisorQUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years of institutional kitchen experience, school foodservice is preferable.Quantity food production knowledge, including recipe standardization; weights and measures conversions; culinary vocabulary; inventory/purchasingCulinary skills that include advanced knife skills; ability to properly use institutional kitchen equipment.Ability to supervise a staff of 5 or more people: scheduling, assigning daily tasksCurrent ServeSafe certification DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the production of all student meals, including breakfast and lunch.Adhere to the daily menu selection as listed on the current month's printed menu. Any deviations from the posted menu must be discussed/cleared with the Director.Supervise production staff and direct daily task assignments to ensure that meals are produced in a timely manner and that staff members' skills are used to their best advantage. Down-time should be minimal.Create and maintain accurate production records that meet the federal and state guidelines and demonstrate adherence to current meal pattern requirements.
Produce meals in a way that minimizes waste while being sure every student is served.Order food and supplies in a manner that ensures production staff has what is needed to produce daily menus, while minimizing waste and preventing over-ordering.Create and maintain daily sales reports that reflect all daily sales revenue including reimbursable meals, student account pre-payments and cashier transactions. All reports must be kept in an organized file cabinet. All pre-payment envelopes must also be kept in an organized manner.Create and maintain a kitchen environment that is both safe and sanitary at all times.Observe all HACCP procedures to ensure that all food products are handled properly to avoid any opportunities for foodborne illness or unnecessary waste.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Represent the Nutrition Services department in a professional manner, being the contact person in your school for administration and education staff.Arrive on time for daily scheduled shift. Maintain a professional appearance.Attend training sessions as assigned by the Director, in order to maintain the skill set required by your position.
