Job Description: As an Entry-Level Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain, repair, and enhance the appearance and functionality of paved surfaces. This role offers a hands-on, physically engaging work environment ideal for individuals who thrive outdoors and in team settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of paved surfaces to assess the need for repair or maintenance.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as filling cracks, sealing surfaces, fixing potholes, and applying seal coating to protect and preserve pavement.
• Assist in parking lot striping, including layout and painting of markings for parking spaces, handicap zones, and traffic direction indicators.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment, such as blowers, pressure washers, pavement cutters, striping machines, and seal coating equipment under supervision.
• Clean and prepare sites, removing debris and old materials to ensure a clean working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.
• Set up traffic control signs and barriers to ensure the safety of the work area and public.
• Adhere to all company guidelines, safety protocols, and productivity standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of tools and machinery used in paving, seal coating, and parking lot striping.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail, commitment to high-quality work, and ability to meet productivity goals.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and operate in a safe manner.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week
