Satilla Marine, Inc is Hiring a Marine Technician Near Waycross, GA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing various types of marine vessels. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and a passion for working with boats and watercraft.

Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on outboard engines and systems
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with propulsion systems, steering systems, and other boat components
- Install, test, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and navigation equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs and installations
- Fabricate or weld sheet metal components as needed
- Rigging of boats including installation of motors, controls, and accessories

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in marine applications
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with marine engines and propulsion systems
- Ability to solder and perform basic electrical wiring tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle maintenance
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, rigging, or welding is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Note: This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
