Summary of Duties:

The Purchasing & Procurement Manager will facilitate the purchasing of materials, supplies and equipment and ensure all contracts follow applicable State, Federal and other external and internal requirements.

Essential Duties:

• Process all purchase requisitions according to policy and procedures.

• Research items/materials requested by any department within the agency and provide pricing and purchasing options.

• Obtain bids for products and services required by contract regulations, or our own policy and procedure.

• Establish purchasing agreements with vendors to provide agency with quality products and services.

• Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with MBE/WBE bidding processes and

requirements for federally funded and state-funded programs and projects.

• Ensure that all procurement records are complete and properly documented to withstand

internal and external audit review and procurement protests.

• Review all new contracts, for both the purchase of services from other entities and the provision of services to other entities, to ensure the contracts follow all applicable State, Federal and other external and internal requirements regarding purchasing, policies, procedures, regulations, and statutes.

Education & Experience:

• Associate’s degree, or minimum 2 years of experience
