About the job

SAS is seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced individual to join the Global IoT Commercial team as a Senior IoT Partner Marketing Manager.

This role is responsible for developing the strategy and driving the execution of global IoT partner marketing initiatives that leverage SAS IoT technology, and go-to-market partnerships, to drive promotion and awareness of SAS Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), create joint partner marketing assets for partners to use in combination with their marketing efforts, and generate programs that will maximize engagement and acquisition of SAS AIoT customers through indirect partner channels.

As a Sr. IoT Partner Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Design a globally scalable IoT partner marketing program, build efficient processes with all stakeholders, and establish working relationships with regional and global marketing teams to drive effective engagement.
  • Drive IoT partner marketing activities – including content development for external web and printed collaterals, articles, whitepapers, blogs, videos, customer reference and story development, speaking engagements and involvement with key 3rd party partners
  • Execute event strategies and support team with event coordination, on-site support and post-event deliverables and coordinating lead follow up
  • Collaborate to execute on social media strategy for industry/solution area, external awareness of SAS IoT and its partners and position yourself and our team as thought-leaders in IoT
  • Deliver and execute initiatives that increase overall market awareness of the brand, grow partner engagement, and drive new business opportunities.

Required qualifications 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Organizational skills for managing commitments, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Skilled in effective communication, influencing and negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time to HQ or events
  • An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications. 

Preferred qualifications

  • Working understanding of design programs and ability to execute simple graphics and work with design templates (like Canva)
  • Working knowledge of video production software and ability to produce simple videos
  • Knowledge of the important publications & journalists, influencers and analysts that are in the IoT space, or a willingness to learn and when appropriate, create strategic relationships
