Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Architect to join our team. As a Junior Architect, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Collaborate with senior architects and design teams to develop architectural plans and drawings
- Assist in the creation of design concepts and presentations
- Prepare detailed construction documents using CAD software
- Utilize CAD software to create 3D models and renderings
- Participate in site visits and assist with construction administration tasks
- Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions
- Assist with business development activities, including client meetings and proposal preparation
- Support project management efforts by tracking project milestones and deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in architectural technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design purposes
- Experience with Revit software for 3D modeling and documentation
- Knowledge of Grasshopper for parametric design is a plus
- Strong sketching and visualization skills
- Familiarity with construction management processes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with project management software such as NavisWorks is a plus
