Job Title: Quality Manager

Classification: Salary/Exempt

Reports to: VP of Operations

SUMMARY

The Quality Manager develops, implements, audits, and manages all functions of Quality Assurance. Ensures the company complies with industry standards, satisfies customer specifications and expectations, and drives Continuous Improvement through the use of key KPI’s and TQM tools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

• Primary management representative and champion for ISO 9001 standard compliance and audits.

• Create, document, and implement audit/inspection criteria and procedures to support the quality system.

• Provide accurate reporting on Quality KPI’s.

• Manage quality documentation and processes including first article inspections, PPAP, NCR, corrective/preventive, and improvement actions.

• Manage all quality-related aspects of raw material and outside service providers. Support the quality process and procedures for purchased parts.

• Primary contact for customer quality issues.

• Apply Total Quality Management tools to improve our processes.

• Lead and direct Quality department.

• Meet accounting/budget goals of our company.

• Support company objectives though Continuous Improvement.

• Willing to promote and stand by the company’s purpose statement and core values.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience/education combination.

• Minimum 7 years of quality manufacturing experience.

• Experience dealing with team members of all levels.

• Experience in manufacturing environment required.

• Experience with, and understanding of, Quality Core Tools (preferred)

• Supervisory/management experience required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
