Responsibilities

The Enterprise Learning Development (ELD) Training Coordinator provides administrative, office, learning management system support to the department manager and to the ELD program. This position is responsible for assisting ELD team members to develop and deliver training programs according to NTC procedures. This position will be the main point of contact for all ELD customer service requests. This position will serve as-needed as a backup training coordinator for other funded programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, tracks, and monitors training and special program assignments, schedules, meetings, and conferences
  • Documents and distributes meeting notes
  • Schedules meetings, conferences, and events
  • Supports all training development and delivery duties according to NTC procedures
  • Routinely carries out recurring duties and assignments
  • Establishes, organizes, and maintains printed and electronic records to Records Information and Disposition requirements
  • Serves as the primary customer service point of contact for internal and external customers
  • Applies and follows basic safety and security concepts and policies

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive experience relevant to the essential duties of the position preferred
  • Learning Management System (LMS), Microsoft Office, and Microsoft SharePoint experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of computer security practices and procedures
  • Ability to screen and verify completeness of documents and reports, including source data and supporting documentation, in order to track and correct discrepancies
  • Ability to maintain master database, make arithmetic computations, make adjustments and special entries, and reconcile master database with source documents and project data
  • Knowledge of writing/editing techniques sufficient to ensure that the level of concepts, expression, and vocabulary are appropriate for the intended audience
  • Thorough knowledge of English, grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills sufficient to produce error-free documents and training materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal and team skills and ability to interact effectively with others
  • Initiative, including ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply general office practices and procedures
