Come join our dynamic team! We are seeking an experienced Learning professional to assist the Director of Learning in all operations relative to the Learning Department! This is a great opportunity with a growing real estate firm!
Job Summary:The Learning Specialist delivers instructor-led, classroom, webinar, one-on-one and web-based training to both new and existing SRG employees, with an emphasis on SRG sales, customer service, and leadership development. Training will include, but is not limited to, integrated software systems and sales and customer service procedures. They will be responsible for performing Learning needs assessments, designing, and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of Learning interventions. The Learning Specialist role is to enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting Learning programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with company’s core values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Learning Process Management
• Ensure training database, LMS is up to date; that attendance in all training is properly recorded and mandatory training is attended.• Monitor and manage the SRG Sales and Systems Coach Programs, which includes scheduling of coaches, tracking of completed meetings, and evaluating satisfaction surveys• Monitor and Manage Mystery Shop program, which includes ordering, reviewing, assigning training, bonus processing, evaluating results.• Document Management for LearningTraining Delivery and Facilitation
• Direct structured Learning experiences and monitor their outcomes• Deliver Learning courses via classroom and webinars• Conduct sessions to acclimate new hires to the business
Instructional Design
• Develop Learning that will groom employees for the next step of their career path• Partner with the Director of Learning to build annual Learning strategies and make program recommendations• Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, Job aids and manuals
Evaluating Needs and Impact
• Identify Learning needs of employees by evaluating their strengths and weaknesses by reviewing performance reporting, evaluation scores, and manager feedback• Assess Learning effectiveness by creating and evaluating learning surveys to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior • Prepare statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees and training sessions. Use the information to improve the quality of the training based on responses.• Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure they reflect any changes to operational processes
Lifelong Learning
• Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development by becoming a member of ATD and / or attending certification training.• Network with industry and training professionals by attending trade shows and conferences to research and implement new training methodologies.
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.• Must be able to travel 25% of the time.• Proven experience in designing multiple Learning events in a corporate setting• Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles• Proven ability to master the full Learning cycle
• Familiarity with traditional and modern Learning methods, tools and techniques• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, learning management software, Database software, Contact Management systems and Internet software.• Knowledge of Voyager 7 and CRM Flex a plus
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, and bonuses depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
