If you’re interested in working on the forefront of robotics with a creative team of great people, come join us!The Sr. IT Security Analyst protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of IT systems and data, develops IT security policies, and provides management input on relevant Information Security initiatives, as well as requirements set forth by regulatory organizations.
What you will do

Designs, implements, and maintains plans to safeguard digital data from accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure; adheres to emergency data processing needs.
Schedules and performs risk assessments, audits, user access reviews, and tests to ensure proper functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
Designs, implements, maintains, and monitors Information Security awareness training to safeguards system security and improves overall server and network.
Reviews violations of security procedures; provides training to ensure violations do not recur.
Monitors and restricts access to sensitive, confidential, or other restricted data.
Designs, implements, maintains, and monitors vulnerability scanning systems.
Designs, implements, maintains, and monitors virus protection systems.
Develops Information Security reports and provides improvement recommendations.
Configure and perform vulnerability scans to discover and analyze vulnerabilities and characterize risks to networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components.
Perform system administration, and maintain configuration control, of vulnerability management hardware, systems, and application software. Coordinate upgrades and other maintenance activities on vulnerability management tools.
Assist IT Systems Administrators with the implementation of patches, configuration, and other vulnerability mitigation efforts.
Collaborates with users to discuss computer data access needs, to identify security threats and violations, and to identify and recommend needed programming or process changes.
Collaborates with Information Technology teams to implement Information Security controls as defined.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient, or able to gain proficiency with, a broad array of security software applications and tools.
Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems including firewalls, encryption, and password protection and authentication.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position requires access to export controlled technical data. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technical data prior to beginning work. Business demands may require Sarcos to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
At least 7 years experience in Information Security required.
At least 5 years of experience with server and systems, including multiple operating systems, topologies, and protocols, required.
A , Server , Network , Security , CISSP, GIAC, and/or similar certifications required.

The Team You’ll Work Closest WithYou will report to the Vice President, Information Systems and will partner closely with all IT functions and engineering development to provide expertise in cybersecurity considerations.Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work is performed Monday through Friday with ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
In-person or remote work environment.
