Job Description: Tree Service Salesman

Job Overview:
As a Tree Service Salesman, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers, and promoting our tree services. Your primary duties will involve canvassing neighborhoods, interacting with potential clients, and effectively communicating the benefits of our services. Additionally, you will need to act as a liaison between English-speaking customers and our Spanish-speaking supervisor. This role requires excellent communication skills, resilience to rejection, and a proactive attitude towards sales.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Identify and approach potential customers by going door-to-door in residential areas or through other means such as phone calls, emails, or community events.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, introducing our tree services and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Sales Pitch: Present the features and benefits of our tree services, emphasizing quality, affordability, and reliability. Tailor your pitch to suit the specific needs of each customer.
• Language Translation: Act as a translator between customers who speak English and our Spanish-speaking supervisor. Ensure clear communication between both parties regarding job requirements, estimates, and scheduling.
• Quoting and Estimation: Provide customers with accurate estimates for tree services based on their needs and the scope of the job. Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure that quotes are competitive and profitable.
• Closing Sales: Negotiate terms and finalize agreements with customers. Secure commitments for tree services and schedule appointments for work to be carried out.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including contact information, job specifications, quotes, and sales outcomes.
• Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns they may have.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new techniques in tree care to enhance your sales pitch and improve customer satisfaction.

Compensation:
You will receive a percentage of the revenue generated from every job you successfully secure and oversee to completion. In addition to your base commission, there may be opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Please note that earnings may fluctuate depending on the volume and value of sales each day.
