Summary: Ensures the safe and appropriate use of drugs, optimizes the pharmaceutical care of the patient and provides drug information to other healthcare professionals, Coordinates the timely dispensing and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. Bachelor of Science or Pharmacy degree is required; current NYS licensure and registration with New York Board of Pharmacy required. Hospital and/or clinical experience is preferred. Must be able to organize efficiently. Good interpersonal and customer service skills (including verbal and written). Word processing, database and spread sheet manipulation and presentation software preferred.
