Saratoga Hospital is Hiring an Operations Manager-Community Health Center Near Saratoga Springs, NY

The Operations Manager at the Saratoga Hospital Community Health Center plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the healthcare facilities business lines. This position involves overseeing administrative and operational functions, managing staff, and fostering a positive environment that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction. The Operations Manager will have operational oversight for the four service lines (primary care, mental health, addictions, and dental) within the Saratoga Hospital Community Health Center and will work collaboratively with the ACGME coordinator to oversee the operations of Saratoga Hospital Family Residency Continuity Clinic.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

 Administrative Oversight

  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, coding, and medical records management.
  • Coordinate with various departments to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Staff Management
  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise service line leaders
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support professional growth and development
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication
  • Financial Management
  • Monitor and manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, and expense control
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement initiatives.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve the quality of patient care and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Patient Relations

  • Maintain a patient-centric focus by addressing patient concerns and working with service line leaders to resolve complaints in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Develop strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and engagement
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and service line leaders to ensure deliver of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders, including patients, local organizations, and government agencies.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives and events to promote the services offered by the health center and address community health needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct report – Clinical coordinators and Dental Practice Manager
  • Indirect reports – All CHC staff

Minimum Qualifications:

Education, Training & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Five or more years of operations management experience, preferable in an ambulatory setting.

Certifications / Licensure

  • Clinical licensure preferred; Nursing or Social Work
Salary Range: $37.45-$65.97
Pay Grade: M5
Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
