Summary of Position : Prepares foods for all areas including : patient meals, retail / cafeteria and catered functions. Plans for food production by reviewing menus and production sheets.
Collects all items necessary to prepare meals, ensuring adequate quantities; using time management. Ensures all food items are prepared according to ServSafe and HACCP requirements;
uses HACCP Manager System for temperature monitoring. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area; alerts Production Manager of any matters that nay affect the standards set for food production.
Minimum Qualifications : HS graduate or equivalent. College or tech school related degree in food preparation preferred.
Salary Range : $17.25 - $26.65
Pay Grade : 16
Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to : overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
