Sarasota Pool Patrol is Hiring a Pool Technician Near Sarasota, FL

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pool equipment, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for pool maintenance, we encourage you to apply. Duties: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and maintaining pool filters, pumps, and heaters - Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions - Repair or replace faulty pool equipment components as needed - Test water quality and adjust chemical levels accordingly - Vacuum and skim the pool to remove debris - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed repairs - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner Requirements: - Previous experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar role is preferred - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues - Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment required for pool maintenance and repair - Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and best practices - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently - Strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments Please note that all positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.83 - $19.74 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
