Gives daily direction to the Respiratory Care Specialists and Therapists on their shift, which includes but is not limited to clinical guidance, education, interdepartmental relations, orientation and personnel actions. Acts as liaison between department administration and the physicians, other departments and the public. Serves as a role model for staff in support of quality clinical practice and administrative direction.Required Qualifications
- Require a minimum of two (2) years Respiratory Care work experience, with strong emphasis in Adult and Neonatal Critical Respiratory Care, including hemo-dynamics and intubation.Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer three (3) years of clinical education and quality monitoring experience, including Blood Gas Lab Joint Commission survey experience.
- Prefer Clinical and Business Information Systems and implementation experience.
- Prefer Hyperbaric, Sleep Medicine, EEG experience and certification.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to work and plan with others in a team setting while being creative and time effective.Mandatory Education
