The Pharmacy Technician II works under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists in accordance with Florida law, rules, and regulations. Responsible for assisting and supporting pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient focused manner that supports and promotes medication safety, as well as responsibility for supporting the preparation and distribution of medications. The Pharmacy Technician II works in more advance technician roles including triage, sterile compounding, pharmacy satellites, and Pyxis anesthesia systems.Required Qualifications
- Require active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida.
- Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification.
- Prefer recent comparable institutional practice experience as a pharmacy technician.Mandatory Education
