Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Navigator (CNN) is a professional role model and clinical expert who serves as an advocate and educator responsible for facilitating patients’ and/or caregivers’ experience by guiding patients across the continuum, providing education and support, and helping predict follow-up care needed for treatment and disease process in order to promote medical optimization to ensure best outcomes and best value of care.Required Qualifications
- Require one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a specialty area.
- Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer a self-directed individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Prefer certification in specialty area.Mandatory Education
Preferred Education
BSN: Bachelor of Science NursingRequired License and Certs
BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
FDL: Valid Driver's License
FL RN: FL Registered Nurse LicensePreferred License and Certs
